This is the biographical story of an Indian middle-class boy. He was growing up before some seventy years. Ahmedabad where he grew up was a classical middle-class area. It had no asphalt roads, no electricity at that time. His parents did not interfere with his development.

Girls and women played a great role in his growth. His friends, chums and some books also shared his growth. His only request is "Don't Kill Me"

Let me develop my way. And he grew up not as a rogue but a soft-hearted, generous loving man. This past of his life, nearly upto his late teens 16 or so is put here. He is introduced to sex, but sex does not become a craze for him.

This is partly a story of my life, some of my friend’s, life and te story of a developing society. We should - elders the parents remember one thing - his request - Don't Kill Me.

This is the story of - life-story of an Indian boy.

He came from a middle class family. His parents were not well literate.

The father was somewhat literate, He had studied Urdu language from a Maulavi (Muslim priest). He had to go to the mosque for his lessons.

Nothing was charged from him for his lessons.

He came from a Hindu family. But there was no grudge against Muslims. It was about 150 years ago.

He used to write some stores in a magazine called, Soviet Land.

The mother was quite illiterate, she came from a small village. At the age of 25 years, she learned to read and write her mother tongue, Gujarati language. This is the story of a Gujarati boy growing up in a city. The story is set about 70 years ago.

He was the only son of his parents. They loved him and he also loved and respected his parents.

He begins to tell his story when he was about 5 to 6 year old.

Sometimes this is pure fantasy, the episodes, based on my own experience, the experience of my friends - all of my age. There is the growth of Babu - a boy, any boy, of about 60-65 years ago.

It, I believe, describes the cultural or social atmosphere of those days. I am nostalgic about that time. I can assure you that these episodes are mostly based on real facts.

Most of these people have dies except me.

This is remembering those friends, that time, those mischiefs, that innocence and fun.

And I hope you would dive into the past if you read this.

But let us see if you feel nostalgic or not.
